Who We Are

Artfire Guilds are groups of people with similar interests and are otherwise known as teams or organizations within Artfire.com.  The Native American Network is a guild that targets not only Native American artisans, but also others who enjoy Native American art.

I created this guild to include everyone.  Not only those who create "authentic" Native American artworks, but also those who make items in the likeness of, and others who enjoy Native American art.  I had a dream of creating a place where we could all come together and share in the joy and wonder of our common interest:  Native American Art.  I dreamed of a place where we can grow and expand individually and as a guild, a place where we can be a resource for each other, a helping hand to each other, a place where we could promote each other, and a place where we could relax and get to know each other too.  Thus, "The Native American Network - Artfire Guild" was born.

Within a week we've expanded to 46 members, and we're growing every day it seems.  It's been a great joy for me in processing applications and reading about our member's reasons for wanting to join.  It's also been a great accomplishment getting our forum up and running, as well as creating banners and widgets, sub-forums, creating forms, getting this blog started and so much more.  It's definitely been a job, but I strongly believe that a solid foundation creates strength and durability for the long haul.

I hope that we can continue to expand and look forward to getting to know all of our members much better!

The Native American Network - Welcome

Hello and welcome to our new blog.  We are the Native American Network - Artfire Guild.  Our guild was founded in December 2010 and was created for Native American artisans and for Artfire members who love Native American art.  Our guild home can be found HERE on Artfire.

Our blog will be used to share our guild with the world.  It is here that we will post events and other information. We are seeking bloggers to help out with the blog, so if you are a current member and would like to write a blog or regular column, please let me know.
